Abstract:Persistentorganicpollutants(POPs)areorganiccompoundsofnaturaloranthropogenic

originthatresistphotolytic,chemicalandbiologicaldegradation.ThehistoryofresearchonPOPsispresentedinthispaper,fromthebeginningoftheutilizationoforganicsyntheticchemicals,toboththeextensiveresearchandinternationalactiononPOPs.TheinternationalactionsaftertheUNEPGCDecision18/32aredescribed.ThehottopicsaboutPOPsresearchandthescientificprogrammesonPOPsindevelopedcountriesarealsopresented.

　　持久性有机污染物(POPs)由于其长期残留性、生物蓄积性、半挥发性和高毒性,对人类健康和环境具有严重危害而受到人们的重视,自从《关于持久性有机污染物的斯德哥尔摩公约》签订后,关于持久性有机污染物的研究更加成为全球性的研究热点。本

文全面介绍了POPs研究的历史过程,并指出了当今国际POPs研究的热点问题和发达国家在该领域的研究计划,旨在为我国的POPs研究提供一些参考。
