2. Be able to write passages about vacation.

Period One

一、Teaching contents: 1. Vocabulary. 2. Target.

二、Teaching procedure:

Step One: Warming-up. 1. Greetings. 2. Daily talk.

Step Two: New lesson. 1. Learn the words

(1) Read two passages and learn words from them. (2) Answer some questions about the passages. (3) Read the words after the teacher. (4) Read in pairs.

2. Target: How are you going to Guangzhou? We’re going by bus. Where are you going to stay? We’re going to stay in a hotel. (1) Read after me. (2) Read together. (3) Read in pairs.

Step Three: Summary and Homework. 1. Brief summarize what we learned this lesson.

(1) Read “Vocabulary” and “Target”. (2) Help to solve the problems. 2. Give the homework. 三、Layout:

Step One: Warming-up. 1. Greetings. 2. Review:

(1) Read and check “Vocabulary” and “Story”.

(2) Ask and answer: Where are you going? How are you going there?

Where are you going to stay? Step Two: Story

1. Read P18 and find the answers: Where are Tony, Jenny and Gogo going? How are they going there? Where are they going to stay?

Attention: Show pictures and sentences to make Ss understand.

2. Watch the video for once.

Question: Can they go camping? Why? 3. Read the story. (1) Read after the tape. (2) Read in pairs.

(3) Solve the problems in reading. (4) Read together.

(5) Read in pairs and try to remember the words. Step Three: Song activities

1. T: Look at the pictures and ask: What’s the weather like? 2. Listen to the tape first. 3. Sing after the teacher.

4. Listen again and have Ss practice singing together.

5. Divide the class into two groups. Have the two groups sing their parts with music.

6. Finish part2 and sing with their partners. Step Four: Summary and Homework. 1. Brief summarize what we learned this lesson. 2. Give the homework:

Review “Story” and read more about what we’ve learned. 三、Layout:
