Abstract:Anatasenano-titaniumdioxidewaspreparedbyhydrothermalmethodatthetemperatureof160 in1-allyl,3-methylimidazoliumchloride([Amim][Cl])roomtemperatureionicliquid,usingmetatitanicacidasrawmaterials.Thephase,morphology,opticalpropertiesandphotocatalyticactivityofthesampleswereanalyzedbyX-raydiffraction(XRD),transmissionelectronicm-icroscopy(TEM),andUV-Visiblespectrometer(UV-Vis),respectively.Theresultsshowthattheaveraged-iameteroftheparticlesisabout18.4nmandthemor-phologyisellipsoid-like.Theas-preparedsamplesshowcertainabsorptioninthevisiblelightregionandphotocat-alyticactivityundervisiblelightirradiation,andshowhigherphotocatalyticactivitiesthancommercialproductP-25forphotocatalyticoxidativedegradationofthemeth-ylenebluethroughphotocatalytictest.
