Section One Translation from Chinese into English

Directions: For this part, you are required to write a composition on the topic My Advice to

Pessimists. You should write at least 150 words based on the following two points:

1) disadvantages of pessimism;

2) ways to overcoming pessimism.

My Advice to Pessimists

Nowadays with the developing of economic, the pressure of living is increasing correspond. There are many news that some student suicide because much pressure. Some people take the pressure in pessimist and they think they can’t bear it. That is why some sad things happen for them to end their life.

The disadvantages of pessimism are many aspects. On the one hand, to individual it can make someone lose their confidence destroy their hope and do some extreme things, like alcohol and harm for their healthy. On the other hand it would affect the stable of family and society, even more influent the economic stable.

In my opinion, it is time for people to learn to overcoming pessimism. When you felt upset and unconfident, do not stay alone. Try to search help from friends or families or doctors. And do not give yourself much pressure, if have, then have a good relax first. Try to search another kind
