【内容提要】 社会性别研究作为一种学术研究，其进展状况既与其他国际学术思潮密不可分，又同各种社会运动息息相关。我们通过“交叉性”和“男性研究”两个相关学术概念，可以看到这个领域在国际上发展的深度和广度。社会性别研究在中国大陆也得到了可喜的发展，但是在社会性别概念被中国妇女研究界相当广泛地运用的同时，我们也看到，中国社会性别研究的理论发展深度尚有不足。社会性别研究者要努力发出自己的声音，使其走出学术的边缘境地，短兵相接地同男性中心文化交战，发挥社会性别批判性理论应有的作用。

As a development in academic field, social gender research is not only closely integrated with other international academic fields, but also related with various social movements. Through the concepts of

“interdisciplinary” and “male research”, we can understand the depth and width of this field. Social gender study also made sound progress. However, while this concept is widely applied in Chinese female circle, it also met some deficiencies in depth. Social gender researchers should try to call upon their voices, go out of academic brink, fight with male-dominated culture, and avail of the functions of social gender
